Transfer News LIVE: Garnacho and Rashford tease Man Utd futures, Chelsea player nearing departure, and the latest on Arsenal.

The 2025 January transfer window is entering its final week, and the Premier League is bracing for a potentially chaotic finish.

Manchester United are in desperate need of reinforcements and could see significant movement in both arrivals and departures. Antony has already left, and Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford could follow, with Chelsea and Barcelona reportedly interested, respectively. Napoli is also keen on Garnacho, while Liverpool’s interest in another target might push Antonio Conte’s team to prioritize the young winger.

United are exploring a loan move for Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku, while the Blues consider replacing him with Bayern Munich target Mathys Tel. Additionally, United are in talks to sign Patrick Dogu from Lecce, with the Italian club already searching for a potential replacement.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are still on the hunt for a striker, with RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko emerging as a top candidate. Sesko is reportedly open to a move to the Emirates. Wolves’ Matheus Cunha is also under consideration, while Newcastle are working to secure Alexander Isak with a new deal amid growing interest.

Manchester City have already made moves in the market, with two January signings featuring in their win over Chelsea. However, they may not be finished yet. Liverpool, sitting atop the Premier League, could also be active as they aim to strengthen their squad further.

Alejandro Garnacho’s future remains a key talking point. Both Chelsea and Napoli have been linked with the young Argentine, especially after a challenging period under Ruben Amorim. Despite the speculation, Garnacho’s game time has increased in recent weeks. Amorim handed him his second start in three league games against Fulham on Sunday and hinted that Garnacho is firmly in his plans.

“He’s our player, and I’m really happy with Garnacho. He’s improving a lot,” Amorim said. “He had a great game last Thursday [against Rangers]. He’s young, recovers well, and we want to use all of his talent to win games.”
