Ousmane Dembélé equals a record held by Neymar and Kylian Mbappé in PSG’s Champions League win at Brest, with a chance to surpass it soon.
PSG star Ousmane Dembélé netted twice against Brest in the Champions League on Tuesday, equaling a record previously set by Neymar and Kylian Mbappé.
PSG secured a 3-0 victory in the first leg of their Champions League play-off, with Dembélé shining for Luis Enrique’s side. The forward is in blistering form, having now scored in eight consecutive matches for the French champions. With his next goal, he has the opportunity to surpass both Neymar and Mbappé’s club record.
Though Dembélé’s recent goal-scoring history has been inconsistent, the 2024-25 campaign tells a different story. The former Barcelona star has now scored 23 goals across all competitions this season, including 15 in 2025 alone. He leads the Ligue 1 scoring charts, three goals ahead of Mason Greenwood, and is enjoying the most prolific season of his career.
Dembélé is also the only player to have scored 10 or more goals across Europe’s top five leagues and European competitions in 2025.
PSG return to Ligue 1 action on Sunday against Toulouse before facing Brest again in the second leg of their Champions League play-off on Wednesday. Having already netted seven times against Brest this season, Dembélé will look to add to his tally at the Parc des Princes.
