O’Neil Leaves Role as Wolves Head Coach

Wolves Announce Departure of Head Coach Gary O’Neil

Wolves have parted ways with head coach Gary O’Neil and his backroom team.

O’Neil took charge at Molineux just three days before the start of the 2023/24 Premier League season, stepping into a challenging role. Despite the late appointment, he led the team through a successful campaign.

Under his leadership, Wolves secured memorable victories over Manchester City, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur, and defeated rivals West Bromwich Albion during a run to the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Chairman Jeff Shi expressed his gratitude, saying: “We’re very grateful to Gary for all of his effort, dedication, and hard work during his time at the club, and we wish him and his team the best of luck for the future.”
