February 4 – Devin Booker Becomes Phoenix Suns’ All-Time Leading Scorer

Devin Booker made history on Monday night by becoming the Phoenix Suns’ all-time leading scorer during a game against the host Portland Trail Blazers.

With 7:34 remaining in the third quarter, Booker sank a 3-pointer that brought his total to 24 points for the game and 15,668 career points, surpassing Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Walter Davis, who previously held the franchise record.

Following the milestone basket, Booker, a four-time All-Star, embraced his family during a timeout and received a warm ovation from the Portland crowd.

At 28 years old, Booker reached the achievement in his 10th season and 642nd game with the Suns.

Davis, a six-time All-Star, played 766 games (359 starts) for Phoenix from 1977 to 1988 before finishing his career with the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers. He passed away in 2023 at the age of 69.
