Real Madrid vs. Alaves : Predicted Lineups, Team News, and Injuries.
Real Madrid will aim to stay in contention with an in-form Barcelona when they host Deportivo Alaves in La Liga on Tuesday.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side secured their fourth consecutive win across all competitions with a 4-1 victory over Espanyol at the Santiago Bernabeu last weekend. However, Barca’s perfect start, with six wins from six, has them leading the early table by four points.
Ancelotti will need to manage his squad carefully, especially with an upcoming derby against Atletico Madrid on Sunday. While the injury list has lightened, with Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni starting the last two games, rotation may be needed. Bellingham, who suffered a shoulder knock against Espanyol, might be rested. Meanwhile, Vinicius Junior and Endrick, both benched last weekend, could return to the starting lineup.
Dani Carvajal picked up an ankle injury, so Lucas Vazquez is expected to replace him at right-back. Eduardo Camavinga remains out with an MCL injury, along with Dani Ceballos (ankle), Brahim Diaz (hamstring), and long-term absentee David Alaba.
Real Madrid predicted XI (4-3-3, right to left): Courtois (GK) — Vazquez, Militao, Rudiger, Mendy — Valverde, Tchouameni, Guler — Rodrygo, Mbappe, Vinicius
Injured: Camavinga, Ceballos, Diaz, Alaba, Carvajal
Suspended: None
Alaves, meanwhile, have started the season solidly, sitting seventh after a 1-0 win over Sevilla. Coach Luis Garcia Plaza has no major injury concerns, apart from goalkeeper Jesus Owono being sidelined with a muscular problem.
Winger Carlos Vicente and striker Toni Martinez, each with two goals this season, will pose the biggest threat for Alaves.
Alaves predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Sivera (GK) — Tenaglia, Abqar, Sedlar, Sanchez — Guevara, Jordan — Vicente, Stoichkov, Martin — Martinez
Injured: Owono
Suspended: None
