Man Utd criticized by club legend for ”poor” transfer decisions.

“Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has criticized his former club for making ‘poor decision after poor decision’ over the past decade.

Despite spending over €2 billion on transfers since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013, the Red Devils have failed to win the Premier League title and currently sit in 13th place in the table.

Under Ruben Amorim, United have lost eight of 20 matches, and their January transfer window brought only Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven, falling short of securing a much-needed center forward. Big-money signings like Mason Mount, Antony, and Rasmus Hojlund have also struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford.

During a Q&A session reported by the Manchester Evening News, Giggs expressed his frustration: ‘Like any business, recruitment needs to be right, and it hasn’t been for the last ten years. We’ve just made poor decision after poor decision.’

However, Giggs remains optimistic about Amorim’s potential: ‘I really like the manager. Given a chance and time, he will bring success back.’ He emphasized the importance of providing Amorim with ‘three or four transfer windows’ and the necessary support to rebuild the squad, despite admitting the club is currently ‘a long, long way behind’ top contenders.”
